Grimsby Fishing Heritage Centre

Grimsby Fishing Heritage Centre

Grimsby Fishing Heritage Museum is one of the town’s biggest attractions. It is regarded very fondly by people who have connections with the fishing industry, but it is losing relevance to younger generations. We were commissioned by NELC to lead a comprehensive visioning exercise to bring the Centre up to date, provide a developed brief and business plan, an architectural assessment of the building, cost plan for the capital works, and compile a full feasibility study. The study has been presented to all the Department Heads to NELC and has won the support of the local MP. It is hoped the scheme will be submitted to NLHF at the end of 2022.
