Understand

We begin each project by having in depth discussions with the client about the brief and what they want from the development. These conversations continue throughout and are imperative in understanding the client, site, and purpose as these are fundamental in the process of design and build.

Refine

A selection of options will be put forward to both the client and planning council, followed by discussions on which design would be best suited for the users, site, client, and several other factors. This results in a distillation of options resulting in one being chosen to be carried forward to construction.

Reflect

Upon completion of a project we reflect on strengths and points for improvement to carry forward into future projects with all clients. We believe that lessons can be learned from every stage which is why we like to return to every project after a period of use to see them in action and receive feedback from the users of our buildings.

Create

Having analysed what the client wants from the building, our team will begin to generate ideas, concepts, and design options through the use of sketches, models, and renders. This means that the development of the design becomes a collaborative process, building on each iteration to reach selection of proposals.

Construct

Having gained planning permission, construction goes ahead - we regularly visit sites during construction for support and quality control as well as maintaining positive communications with the builders, clients, and all parties involved.
