Wexham School
Wexham School
This school has attractive features of 1960’s construction and our aim was to retain as many of these as possible while providing the necessary facilities and building performance for modern teaching practice. In the auditorium we exposed the slender steel trusses and introduced a passive ventilation system to re-create the original volume but achieve comfort conditions for large assemblies. With refurbished hardwood floors and new curtain walling the hall is now a refreshed, comfortable space. In the entrance area we introduced modern systems for safety and created a new, accessible and welcoming entrance.
“….the School couldn’t be happier” Lawrence Smith, Headteacher
